White Bean Pizza Burgers (Vegan, Gluten Free)
All the yummy Pizza flavors in the shape of a Burger, these White Bean Pizza Burgers are Vegan, Gluten Free, and oh so delicious!
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cup cooked Red Rice, divided
1 can Cannelini Beans, rinsed and divided
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Ground Flax
1/4 cup Fresh Basil, packed
2 cloves Garlic
2 tsp Nutritional Yeast
1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
1/4 tsp Red Chili Flakes (optional)
1 tsp Salt
Optional Toppings: Marinara Sauce, Red Onion, Lettuce, etc.
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375F. In a small bowl, combine 1 tbsp of Ground Flax with 2 tbsp of Filtered water; stir, and let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
Add 1 cup each of Cannelini Beans and cooked Rice to a Food Processor along with the thickened Flax “Egg,” and remaining ingredients. Puree until the mixture reaches an even consistency.
